The Dolphins are the only South Florida team

The Dolphins football jerseys are the only South Florida team on Forbes' list of the 50 most valuable franchises.

Forbes rated soccer's Manchester United as the most valuable franchise, with an estimated net worth of $1.84 billion. The rest of the top five includes the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, Washington Redskins and New England Patriots. The Dolphins' worth was estimated at $1.02 billion.

Two Heat players and two former Heat players rank among the 50 Davone Bess most valuable athletes, according to the magazine. James' income between June 2009 and June 2010 was estimated at $42.8 million, including endorsements. Dwyane Wade was ranked 28th, with a reported income of $26.8 million for the past year. Shaquille O'Neal is 17th at $31 million and Jermaine O'Neal is 37th at $24 million.

Forbes rated Tiger Woods as ``the most valuable athlete'' with $105 million in income for the past year. Woods was followed by boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Former new Miami Dolphin jerseys Kim Bokamper will build a restaurant in Miramar after purchasing property near Interstate 75 and Miramar Parkway for $2.8 million.

The sale was made on June 10 from RM Miramar Centre, an affiliate of Davie-based Ross Realty Investments, to Plantation-based P.D.K.N. P-2. While state records did not list the corporate officers of the buyer, Ross Realty CEO Barry Ross said the purchaser is part of Bokamper's Sports Bar and Grill.

A sports broadcaster for CBS4 in Miami, Bokamper already has a sports grill in Jake Long Plantation – at the same address as the purchaser of the Miramar site.

Also located at 15620 S.W. 29th St. is the 18,068-square-foot building that Ross Realty built in 2009 and leased to Strayer University. Ross said he sold about 3 acres next to that building to Bokamper's group. It is zoned for a restaurant along a lake, he noted.
